It’s really easy to show your geek colours as a knitter/crocheter. Changing the colours of things or adding a tiny bit of detail here and there. It can also be a great start in learning to adapt patterns.

In the world of craft, crochet can sometimes feel like the poor relation to knitting - but not at baa ram ewe! We want crocheters to feel just as loved as everyone else, and we've been working on a few projects recently to make sure that's the case.
We hold regular workshops here in our Leeds shop, and our crochet tutor Melanie Boocock designed a fabulous shawl. Jane has made it up (pictured above) in Dovestone dk, using Bramley Baths, Aire and Endeavour, and I think it's gorgeous. Melanie is happy to share the pattern so if you're interested in making your own, just get in touch.
