Worldwide Knit in Public Day.jpg   forget-me-not.jpg

We had a brilliant time on Worldwide Knit in Public Day - despite the horrible weather! We couldn't put our bench outside, but loads of lovely knitters came to join us in the shop to help spread the love of knitting.

Huge thanks to everyone who contributed a knitted square to help us make a Knit in Public Day blanket. We've put them all together and will be donating the blanket to Knit for Peace.
If you want to see more photos of us celebrating Worldwide Knit in Public Day, visit our Facebook page, our Twitter feedor our Instagram account - and tell us where you were knitting, too!

Thanks so much to everyone who contributed a crafted forget-me-not for the project at the Prince of Wales Hospice in Pontefract. We were really pleased to be able to take a bundle to them for their flower archway.

Using our skills to make the world a better place is something we feel passionate about here at baa ram ewe, and we know many of our customers feel the same. So if you have a good cause or project that we could support with our knitting or crochet, we'd love to hear about it - just email us.

We'll share as many as we can in future editions of Field Notes.
