Edwards Crochet Emporium Doll

Christmas is almost upon us so I've been crocheting like crazy to get projects finished. My most recent project is from the amazing Edward's Crochet Doll Emporium by Kerry Lord. The subtitle for the book is Flip the Mix-and-Match Crochet Patterns to Make and Dress Your Favourite People. You can make absoultely any person you like including a mini version of yourself. Here is my mini me!

I'm now planning to make different outfits especially a christmassy one.

Crochet Christmas Puddings

I have also made a fabulous christmas pud trio which hide inside each other like Russian Matryoshka Dolls! They're quick and easy to make and although I didn't follow a pattern you can find a free pattern on Ravelry here . To make the puddings I used a Super Chunky for the base and a Chunky for the topping and the holly, changing hook size and making fewer increases for the base.

Every year I make these wonderful candy cane horses. They take no time at all and are great for that little something extra to add to children's (or adult's) presents. They also make ideal christmas tree ornaments. I found a free pattern on Pinterest here. You can also make candy cane reindeer!

That's all for now or I will go on forever. Happy Crocheting !!   Jess
