(Plus I get to zoom around in a van!) ![van excitement.jpg](https://blog.baaramewe.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/Blog%20Images/van%20excitement.jpg?width=161&name=van%20excitement.jpg) We get to see familiar faces at each show, make friendships, and see what you’ve knitted from the goodies you bought from us last year. It’s always fantastic, the excitement you greet us with upon getting to see our yarns in real life, and of course give them a good squish! We love to show you what we’ve been making, whether that’s new shades, new patterns, or even a brand new yarn.  It's tiring and hard work but there's nothing like the feeling you get after a busy show. It's also a great bonding exercise for us as a team as we do everything together - driving, loading and unloading the van, setting up the stand, eating together in the evening and sometimes even sharing a twin room at the hotel or B&B! In the days running up to a show our team have to pick their way around piles of display equipment and crates of yarn as we take up every corner of our office space with the packing. We sometimes end up boxing each other in at our desks! Our Leeds shop sometimes looks a bit sorry for itself when we head off to a show. The shelves appear to have been ransacked and the garment display hangers are empty as we open our temporary shop at the show. Customers sometimes walk in and ask where everything is! These are the shows where you'll find us in 2018: [Unravel](http://craft.farnhammaltings.com/portfolio/unravel-festival-knitting/), Farnam Maltings 16th - 18th February ![pomfest.jpg](https://blog.baaramewe.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/Blog%20Images/pomfest.jpg?width=186&name=pomfest.jpg) [Edinburgh Yarn Festival](http://www.edinyarnfest.com/) 15th - 17th March [Spring into Wool](http://www.springintowool.co.uk/), Leeds 7th - 8th April [Wonderwool,](http://www.wonderwoolwales.co.uk/home.html)Wales 28th - 29th April [Leeds Wool Festival](https://www.facebook.com/events/251325595316943/) 2nd June [Woolfest](https://www.woolfest.co.uk/), Cumbria 22nd - 23rd June [Yarndale](http://yarndale.co.uk/), Skipton 29th - 30th Sept   You can also come and see us daily in [our shop](https://baaramewe.co.uk/pages/about-us#find-us) in Chapel Allerton, Leeds, or check our [store locator](https://baaramewe.co.uk/apps/store-locator) to find your nearest baa ram ewe stockist, wherever you are in the world. ### Subscribe to Email Updates ### Recent Posts ### Posts by Topic - [Wool Socks (3)](https://blog.baaramewe.co.uk/blog/topic/wool-socks) - [Crochet (2)](https://blog.baaramewe.co.uk/blog/topic/crochet) - [Dovestone Natural Chunky (1)](https://blog.baaramewe.co.uk/blog/topic/dovestone-natural-chunky) - [Knoll Yarns (1)](https://blog.baaramewe.co.uk/blog/topic/knoll-yarns) - [Worldwide Knit in Public Day (1)](https://blog.baaramewe.co.uk/blog/topic/worldwide-knit-in-public-day) - [imaginarium (1)](https://blog.baaramewe.co.uk/blog/topic/imaginarium) - [toft (1)](https://blog.baaramewe.co.uk/blog/topic/toft) see all ### join the baa ram ewe community ### Main Menu - [Home](https://baaramewe.co.uk/) - [Shop](https://baaramewe.co.uk/collections/all) - [News](http://mailchi.mp/95f63a5e28fc/field-notes-easter-knits-and-a-free-pattern-link-2607573?e=2760c92150) - [About Us](https://baaramewe.co.uk/pages/about-us) - [Store Locator](http://baaramewe.myshopify.com/apps/store-locator) - [Trade](https://baaramewe.co.uk/pages/place-an-order) - [Events](https://www.facebook.com/baa-ram-ewe-108617395840253/events) ### Useful pages - [Search](https://baaramewe.co.uk/search) - [Shipping](https://baaramewe.co.uk/pages/shipping) - [Cancellation and Refunds](https://baaramewe.co.uk/pages/cancellation-and-refund-policy) - [Terms of Service](https://baaramewe.co.uk/pages/terms-of-service) - [Privacy Policy](https://baaramewe.co.uk/pages/privacy-policy) - [Errata](https://baaramewe.co.uk/pages/errata) © 2017 baa ram ewe - Wensleydale image © AnnieCholewa [www.knitsofacto.blogspot.com](http://knitsofacto.blogspot.com) [Ecommerce Software by Shopify](https://www.shopify.co.uk) ![PayPal](https://blog.baaramewe.co.uk/hubfs/BaaRamEwe-Jun2017/image/cc-paypal.png) ![Visa](https://blog.baaramewe.co.uk/hubfs/BaaRamEwe-Jun2017/image/cc-visa.png) ![Visa Electron](https://blog.baaramewe.co.uk/hubfs/BaaRamEwe-Jun2017/image/cc-visaelectron.png) ![Mastercard](https://blog.baaramewe.co.uk/hubfs/BaaRamEwe-Jun2017/image/cc-mastercard.png) ![American Express](https://blog.baaramewe.co.uk/hubfs/BaaRamEwe-Jun2017/image/cc-amex.png) ![Discover](https://blog.baaramewe.co.uk/hubfs/BaaRamEwe-Jun2017/image/cc-discover.png)
